Alan Huffman

Alan Huffman has extensive experience working in various roles in the technology sector. Alan currently serves as the CTO/CDO at Main Street Health, a value-based healthcare company focused on serving rural America. Prior to this, they worked as a Technology Advisor to the CTO at CareBridge, a company that aims to improve the lives of people receiving long-term care services. Alan also held the position of CTO/CDO at Russell Street Ventures.

Alan's previous work experience includes serving as the CTO, CDO, and CISO at Anthem, Inc., specifically for their subsidiary Aspire Healthcare. Alan was responsible for building technology to support the largest palliative care company in the country, among other tasks.

Additionally, Alan has worked in roles such as Engagement Director at Isobar, SVP of Engineering, Devops & Chief Security Officer at Shareable Ink (acquired by Digital Reasoning), Mentor at Jumpstart Foundry and Nashville Software School, and Director of Software Engineering at Healthcare Management Systems. Alan also served as the Director of Technology at C7 at Vanguard Health Systems, where they focused on developing product offerings to combat healthcare cost inflation.

Throughout their career, Alan has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as data science, machine learning, predictive analytics, program evaluation, strategic analytics, data architecture, and technology development. Alan has also played a significant role in recruitment, team management, and the invention of patentable technologies.

Alan Huffman has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, specializing in networks, informatics, and user interface design. Alan also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Genetics, and Pre-Med, with a minor in Psychology from the University of Dayton. Alan has also pursued further education in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Linear Algebra at FastAI, and in Computer Science, UEX, Management, and Innovation through Coursera.
