Garrett Willey

Garrett Willey has a range of work experience, starting with their current position as a Project Engineer at Russell Co. since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University from January 2023 to May 2023.

In 2022, Garrett served as a Project Manager Intern at Russell. Garrett also held the same position in 2021.

Before their internships, Garrett was involved with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Iowa State University Section, where they served as the Iowa State ASME Student Chapter Social Media and Advertisement Chair from June 2020 to May 2021.

Prior to their involvement with ASME, Garrett gained work experience as a Service Advocate at Target from June 2019 to May 2021.

Garrett Willey obtained their high school diploma from North Scott Senior High School, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Garrett then pursued a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering at Iowa State University, starting in 2019 and expected to graduate in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Garrett has also obtained various certifications related to construction and project management. Garrett obtained the "Procore Safety Qualified: Bringing the Right Mindset to the Jobsite" certification from Procore Technologies in June 2022. In the same month, they also obtained the certification for "The 10 Most Critical Factors in Construction Safety" from the same institution.

In August 2021, Garrett obtained the "Commercial HVAC Systems Essentials" certification from Vector Solutions. Furthermore, they hold several project management certifications from Procore Technologies, including "Procore Certified: Project Manager (Resource Management)", "Procore Certified: Project Manager (Financial Management)", "Procore Certified: Project Manager (Quality & Safety)", "Procore Certified: Project Manager at GC (Preconstruction)", "Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools)", and "Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management)". Garrett completed these certifications between May and June 2021.

Lastly, Garrett obtained the "OSHA 10 Hour" certification from Vector Solutions in March 2021.
