Matt Barr, CPA

Matt Barr, CPA has 10 years of work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Matt started their career at McGladrey in 2011 as a Tax Associate and was promoted to Senior Tax Associate in 2013. In 2014, they joined RSM US LLP as a Tax Supervisor and later became a Tax Manager in 2015. Matt was then promoted to Senior Tax Manager in 2019. Matt joined Russell Co. in 2019 as a Financial Controller and currently holds the position of Vice President of Finance as of March 2021.

Matt Barr, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting. Matt obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from Western Illinois University in 2011, after completing their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the same university in 2010. Additionally, they obtained their CPA certification from the Iowa Society of CPAs in June 2012.
