Sean X Naughton

Sean X Naughton, Ph.D., currently serves as an Account Coordinator at Russo Partners, LLC since May 2023. Prior to this role, Sean worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from January 2020 to April 2023, focusing on neuroinflammation and toxicology through the development of a preclinical model of Gulf War Illness. Between August 2013 and January 2020, Sean was a PhD student at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, engaging in phenotypic drug screening related to neurotoxic exposures. Earlier experience includes a research assistant position at Temple University from January 2010 to May 2013, where Sean developed a behavioral assay for cognitive flexibility in mice. Sean holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Temple University.
