Kevin O'Connor is an experienced professional with a strong background in inventory management and procurement. Currently serving as a Corporate Buyer at Rust-Oleum Corporation since April 2019, Kevin utilizes SAP, MRP, and forecasting reports to manage replenishment needs for six distribution centers and oversees production scheduling for numerous vendors. Prior experience includes roles as an Inventory Analyst at Sears Holdings Corporation, where Kevin allocated over 700 items based on sales trends, and as a Corporate Loss Prevention Manager at Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, where initiatives led to significant cost reductions and improved security measures across multiple locations. Kevin also has a foundation in inventory analysis and buying, honed during tenure at Anixter. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management and Information Systems from Northern Illinois University.
