Tom Lauck

Senior Consultant at Rutherford + Chekene

With 26 years of structural engineering experience at R+C and more than 40 years in the profession, Tom has been responsible for some of the firm's largest projects including corporate campuses, laboratories, healthcare facilities, and high-performance university research facilities. Tom managed the design of BioMed Realty’s new biomedical and technology business park campuses in South San Francisco and Foster City. Previously, Tom led the structural team for the new medical campus for Kaiser Permanente in San Leandro and a base isolated hospital and medical office building for Sutter Health in Burlingame. He also led the structural team for Stanley Hall Laboratory, a state-of-the-art building for interdisciplinary bioscience research on the UC Berkeley campus.

Tom is a past chair of R+C's board of directors, and he is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California.
