Richard Gaut

Richard Gaut has worked in a variety of roles in the energy industry since 2011. In 2011, they began working as a Senior Business Development Executive for Reservoir Group. From 2014 to 2017, they worked for SCF Partners, first as a Summer Intern, then as Vice President. During this time, they also worked as an Associate: Strategic Development for Nine Energy Service and a Manager of Corporate Development for Beckman Production Services. In 2017, they joined VLP Lift Systems as a Board of Directors and in 2018, they joined Petro.ai as Chief Financial Officer, Board Observer, and Chief Operating Officer. Richard also joined Deep Imaging and Vertice Oil Tools Inc. in 2018, both as a Board of Directors, and Kinetic Pressure Control as a Board Observer.

Richard Gaut completed a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Wake Forest University in 2006, followed by a Master of Education in Physics Teaching from the same university in 2008. In 2013, they earned a Master of Business Administration in Energy Finance from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business.
