Kate Richards

Kate Richards is an experienced art educator and graphic designer with a diverse background in both education and communications. Currently serving as an Art Educator at Rutland City School District since August 2022, Kate is responsible for developing art curriculum for primary levels. With a significant tenure at Castleton University from 2010 to 2023, Kate held various roles including Director of Design, where oversight of major publications and marketing efforts was a primary focus. Prior roles included Associate Director of Creative Services and Communications Assistant, emphasizing skills in design, creative direction, and public relations. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Communication and Media Studies from Castleton University and a Bachelor of Art in Art & Graphic Design from Keene State College. Additionally, Kate has maintained a freelance graphic design practice since 2007.
