The Herald is the paper of record for south/central Vermont, with reporting and readers in Rutland, Windsor, Windham, Addison and Bennington Counties. With its sister paper, the Barre-Montpelier Times Argus, the Herald operates the statehouse news service the Vermont Press Bureau.
