Katie Barcellos

Katie Barcellos is a seasoned journalist currently serving as a staff writer for the Rutland Herald since December 2017, where responsibilities include covering 13 towns in Western and Central Rutland County and acting as an interim photographer and education reporter for local schools. Prior to this role, Katie worked at Putney Mountain Winery from March 2013 to December 2017, coordinating social media and online marketing, managing the website, and representing the company at various events while assisting in the creation of fruit wines. Katie's early experience includes working as a sales associate and production assistant at Boardman Hill Farm from May 2009 to September 2012, focusing on harvesting, processing, and preparing produce for market, along with sales representation at farmers markets. Katie Barcellos holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Green Mountain College.
