Alissa McShane, MBA

Alissa McShane, MBA has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Alissa began their career as a Server at Outback Steakhouse. In 2012, they also began working at Ruvos, first as an Operations Support Intern, then as a Portfolio Manager, Project Manager, and Operations & Strategic Partnerships. As Project Manager, their client work included managing execution of deliverables, transforming needs and wants into project plans, directing a team, representing a team on the PMO Board, authoring technical documents, leading status calls, navigating competing priorities, and leading Ops & Maintenance projects. Alissa also worked on several nationally-significant projects, such as PHINMS to S3 Migrations, Systems Monitoring & Intelligent Dashboards, Environment Transition to Kubernetes Infrastructure, Exposure Notification Temporary Exposure Key (TEK) Server, Data for Action on Antibiotic Resistant Threats, and Oregon Health Authority Direct Connection.

Alissa McShane has an extensive education history, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Florida State University, which they completed in 2016. Alissa then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration - MBA in B2B Sales & Marketing and Business Intelligence from Florida State University, which they completed in 2019. In addition to their formal education, Alissa has obtained several certifications, including Agile Project Management from Udemy in 2022, AWS Technical Accreditation from Amazon Web Services in 2015, Protecting Human Research Participants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH): Intramural Research Program (IRP) in 2015, AWS TCO and Cloud Economics from Amazon Web Services in 2014, Amazon Web Services Business Professional Accreditation from Amazon Web Services in 2014, Adobe Photoshop from Adobe in 2012, Agile Project Management from Lynda.com in 2016, and Agile at Work: Building Your Agile Team from Lynda.com in 2016.
