Chad Janzen

Chad Janzen graduated from Butterfield-Odin High School in 1992. He attended Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN, and finished his BA in History & Secondary Education at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. He began his teaching career at Los Angeles Lutheran Jr./Sr. In High School. He taught for three years and was principal for three years. During that time he completed his Master's Degree in Educational Administration at California State University, Northridge. They moved back to South Dakota in 2003 where he taught just north of Sioux Falls in Baltic, SD for three years. He then returned to an administrative role in Canistota, SD in the fall of 2007. He was the 7-12 principal for two years, superintendent/9-12 principal for one year, and superintendent/elementary principal for two years. He has been happy to serve the Rock Valley Community School District since the 2011-2012 school year.
