Wade Hawkins

Wade Hawkins has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and technology. Wade currently holds the position of Back End Developer at RVezy since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at T-Base Communications from May 2020 to February 2022.

In 2019, Wade worked as a Software Architecture Consultant at Spinae, where they provided consultation services to a startup company involved in the development of software for modular home sales. Their responsibilities included refining an existing software ecosystem, providing software requirements for subcontractors, and assisting with project management.

Before that, Wade served as a Senior Software Developer at WinTerra Dental from August 2017 to November 2019. Wade was part of a small team responsible for creating a desktop application for dental record tracking and supporting software for a digital periodontal probe. In this role, they worked as a full stack developer, handling UI, back-end, and server infrastructure development, as well as QA.

From June 2013 to August 2017, Wade worked at Algonquin College as an E-learning and Academic Applications System Analyst. Their responsibilities included developing web applications used by academic staff, gathering requirements, project management, and user support. Additionally, Wade was a part-time Professor at Algonquin College from February 2014 to May 2014, teaching the Real-Time Programming course.

Wade's earlier experience includes working as a Software Test Engineer at QNX Software Systems from May 2006 to June 2013. Wade primarily focused on testing various aspects of the Neutrino real-time operating system, including the GNU tool chain, filesystem, multimedia libraries, and core OS. In February 2006, they briefly held the position of Technical Support Agent at Sitel.

Wade Hawkins attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2002 to 2005. Wade pursued a degree in Computer Engineering Technology with a focus on Computer Science.
