Sherrye Platt, MA, MT-BC, is an experienced music therapist specializing in hospice care and therapeutic recreation. Currently serving as a Hospice Music Therapist at RVNAhealth since July 2020, Sherrye previously worked as a Reminiscence Coordinator at Sunrise Senior Living from September 2019 to July 2020 and as a Music Therapist/Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator at Waveny LifeCare Network from May 2010 to September 2019. Sherrye began the professional journey as a Music Therapy Intern at the Jewish Home for the Elderly from October 2009 to April 2010. Academic achievements include a Master of Arts in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from Montclair State University (2007-2010).
