Graham O'Regan is an experienced technology professional with 13 years of work experience in various roles. From 2008 to 2021, they have worked for the BBC, Philter Phactory, Kids Industries: The Family Agency, Import.io, Depop, Lightwave, Saccade Consulting - Freelance CTOs, Transform UK, and FirstCare - Absence Management Solutions. At the BBC, they were a Technical Architect and was responsible for leading the design of web services infrastructure and build pipeline for BBC delivery platform. At Philter Phactory, they were the Head of Technology and was responsible for working closely with the CEO to develop the product roadmap, technical design, development and delivery of software projects across native mobile and web, and CD pipeline using Puppet, Jenkins and Rundeck. At Kids Industries: The Family Agency, they were a Technical Architect and was responsible for the design and development of micro services (SSO/Search/UGC) to support the redevelopment of JCC, an Al Jazeera channel. At Import.io, they were the Head Engineer and was responsible for working with CTO and CEO on engineering roadmap and OKRs, working closely with the CTO to develop a CD pipeline and scalable backend implementation, automation of cloud orchestration of existing backend microservices, and monitoring, alerting and automation solution to automatically respond to production issues. At Depop, they were the Devops Lead and was responsible for the design and implementation of the automatic provisioning and continuous delivery pipeline, implementation of service discovery for microservices using Consul, and implementation of a Cassandra cluster for high-volume feed delivery. At Lightwave, they were the Head of Platforms and was responsible for working very closely with the CEO and CTO to develop an achievable roadmap for custom wearables, mobile app development and cloud-based IoT gateway, helping with recruitment in London and San Francisco for technical roles and vetting of outside agencies, and leading the design and development of IoT gateway on public and private clouds. At Saccade Consulting - Freelance CTOs, they were a Freelance CTO. At Transform UK, they were a Technical Architect. At FirstCare - Absence Management Solutions, they were an Interim CTO. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer and Principal Engineer at Rvvup.
