James Noone

James Noone is currently the Chief Procurement Officer at RWDC Industries. Prior to this, they were the Principal at Noone Knows, LLC from 2019 to 2021. From 2005 to 2019, they held various roles at Holcim, including VP Head of Global Projects & Development - Procurement, Head of Standards and Development - Procurement, Global Talent Development Manager, and Manager of Process Improvement. In this role, they were responsible for making the implementation of SAP work for Holcim US and Canadian Procurement, and for the development and delivery of training to 2,500 users. James was also responsible for the development and streamlining of SAP, Ariba, and non-ERP processes. From 1993 to 2001, James Noone worked at the University of Michigan as an Archaeologist and Instructor. During this time, they directed academic excavations as well as contract/remediation excavations and surveys, and managed teams of up to 20 individuals. From 2001 to 2005, they were a Researcher and Author at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where they published research focused on business ethics and the relationships between human nature, organizational structure, and corporate social responsibility.

James Noone has a long and varied educational background. James obtained their High School Diploma from Central Catholic High School in 1984-1988. James then went on to Bates College, where they earned their BA in Anthropology in 1988-1992. During this time, they also completed an independent course of study in Archaeology at University College Cork in 1990-1991. After graduating from Bates College, they attended the University of Michigan, where they earned their MA in Anthropology in 1993-1996, and completed a Post-graduate (Ph.D) Research in Anthropology. James then attended the University of St.Gallen, where they completed a Management Program in Business Administration and Management, General. Following this, they attended IMD and completed a Leadership Program in Business Administration and Management, General in 2012, and a Senior Management Program in Business Administration, Management and Operations in 2015. Additionally, James Noone holds a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute for Supply Management, obtained in June 2013, and a Certified Project Manager (CPM) from the Project Management Leadership Group, Inc., obtained in July 2007.
