Ryan Parker

Ryan Parker, Ph.D. is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in exhaust dispersion and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at RWDI since June 2021, Ryan focuses on laboratory exhaust systems and wind tunnel modeling to enhance safety and efficiency. Prior to this role, Ryan contributed as a Project Engineer at CPP Wind Engineering Consultants from January 2017 to April 2021, specializing in energy optimization for laboratory exhaust systems through wind tunnel modeling. Ryan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, where research concentrated on improving the efficiency of combined cycle power plants. Additional experience includes positions as a Mechanical Project Engineer at Southwest Research Institute and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Raytheon, where Ryan engaged in various mechanical design projects.
