Marion Weckes

Supervisory Board Member at RWE AG

Marion Weckes is a German business executive who currently serves on the supervisory board of RWE AG. Marion has previously worked for Evonik, RWE, EWSA Europäischer Wirtschafts- und Sozialausschuss, Stadtwerke, and Hans-Böckler-Stiftung. Weckes began their career as a chemikantin at Bayer AG in 1997 and later became a werkstudent at the same company in 2001. In 2000, they began working for Industriegewerkschaft Bergbau, Chemie, Energie (IG BCE) as a dozent, where they taught seminars on topics such as moderation and Train the Trainer. Weckes has also served on the board of directors of several companies, including RWE and Evonik.

Marion Weckes has a diploma in economics from the University of Cologne and was a scholarship holder at the Hans-Böckler Foundation. Marion then undertook training as a chemical assistant at Bayer AG.
