Robert Kiefel

Robert Kiefel is a Doctoral Candidate and Research Associate at RWTH Aachen University since March 2020, specializing in chemical engineering and fluid process engineering with a focus on downstream processing, pH control, electrochemical separation processes, model-based apparatus design, and techno-economic analysis. Prior experience includes an internship at Cargill, where a preventive maintenance strategy for a pilot plant was developed, and an internship at Robert Bosch GmbH, where Robert contributed to the conceptual development of a control system and a KPI system for the company's foundry. Additional internships at Rocket Internet South Africa involved purchasing and business development, while military service was completed in the Federal Armed Forces of Germany. Robert Kiefel holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in General Management from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.
