Kapil Gupta (He/Him)

Kapil Gupta has a strong background in software engineering with a focus on .NET development. Kapil is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Racing and Wagering Western Australia. Prior to this, they worked at Bunnings as a Senior .NET API Developer, where they were responsible for working on e2e commerce APIs and microservices architecture using CQRS pattern and Azure integrations. Before that, they worked at HBF Health as a .NET Integrations Developer, where they built .NET Core/AWS APIs and deployed them on API Gateway.

In their previous roles, Kapil worked as a Senior Application Developer at Modis/Department of Justice, WA, where they used GIT, Oracle, C#.NET, WCF, NUnit, and MoQ to develop features and fix defects in the TOMS application. Kapil also worked at Saxo Bank, both as a Senior Developer and later as a Senior Developer. During their time at Saxo Bank, they worked with MS-CRM 2016, automated the release/merge process using C# win app and TFS APIs, and worked on onboarding and client creation.

Prior to that, Kapil worked as a Senior Consultant at Vichara Technologies, where they developed features in C#, SQL Server, and SSIS for Oaktree Capital, a major asset manager. Kapil also developed utilities in C#.NET to save manual effort. Kapil started their career at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they worked as an Associate, developing in ARGO for the student and auto lending business. Kapil played the role of an individual contributor and team lead for 6 team members and achieved ARGO certification with a score of 80%.

Kapil's earlier experience includes working at Deloitte as a Senior, where they worked on tax and financial applications in ASP.NET and SQL Server. Kapil also managed a team of 5 developers in this role. Overall, Kapil Gupta has a diverse range of experience in software engineering and has consistently demonstrated expertise in .NET development and various technologies and frameworks throughout their career.

Kapil Gupta (He/Him) pursued their education in a chronological order. In 1998, they enrolled at Jamia Millia Islamia and completed their Master's degree in Computer Science in 2000. Following this, in 2008, Kapil attended XLRI Jamshedpur, where they completed the General Management Program specializing in IT and Finance in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Kapil Gupta obtained several certifications. In 2007, they completed the certification in Applied Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Moving forward, they acquired certifications in various Microsoft Azure domains, including "Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals," "Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals," and "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals." These certifications were obtained in March and April 2022.

Furthermore, Kapil obtained certifications in Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts, Developing Azure Compute Solutions, and SignalR with ASP.NET Core from LinkedIn in July 2020 and January 2019, respectively.
