Luming Wang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development. Luming began their career as a Software Analyst at CAXperts in 2006 before moving on to become a Software Consultant at Intergraph in 2007. In 2011, they joined Jacobs as a Senior Software Developer, where they designed and implemented solutions using various technologies and software languages. Luming then transitioned to self-employment in 2018, working as a Solidity Developer before taking on the role of a Senior Blockchain Engineer at VGW. In this position, they focused on the company's blockchain strategy, technical development, and research. Luming's proficiency with blockchain technologies led him to their next role as a Full Stack Engineer at Racing & Wagering WA (RWWA) in 2019. After a year with RWWA, Luming joined Bunnings as an API Developer before moving to JourneyOne in 2020 as a Software Developer. Currently, Luming works at Racing and Wagering Western Australia as a Software Developer.

Luming Wang pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Curtin College, starting in 2003 and completing it in 2016. Prior to that, Luming Wang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, which was completed from 2008 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Luming Wang obtained a Machine Learning certification from Stanford University through a Coursera Course in January 2016, and became a Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate in March 2020 through Microsoft.

Our purpose is to ensure the long-term sustainability of the WA racing industry and we achieve this goal through being the controlling authority for the three racing codes of thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing in Western Australia as well as incorporating wagering through the TAB. We are unique to other racing and wagering jurisdiction across Australia which provides various opportunities and benefits for our customers, the racing industry, employees and stakeholders.
