Paul Graus has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Paul started their career in 1992 as a Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors at PT Tambang Timah. Paul later served as an Advisor to the Board of Directors at PT Batubara Bukit Asam from 1996 to 1998. In 1999, they became a Business Owner at a private company until 2009.
From 2001 to 2009, Paul worked as a Group Finance Manager at First Quantum Minerals, where they successfully led the development and launch of a new ERP and managed the implementation of a new communications system across different global operations.
Following that, they joined Churchill Mining PLC as the Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2012, where they provided financial management during a period of significant organizational change and took on diverse leadership roles.
From 2013 to 2017, Paul served as the CFO and Director on a contract basis at PT Asia Mangan Group, where they reviewed and maintained the company's Pronto ERP system and managed various aspects of the company's operations.
In 2018, they worked as a Finance Manager on a contract basis at Sumatra Copper & Gold Plc, where they developed a strategy to maintain the company's operations during financial difficulties and engaged with financial institutions for potential restructuring.
Paul then joined Leo Lithium Ltd as an Accountant from July 2022 until June 2023. During their tenure, they supported the company's demerging process and assisted with their accounting systems.
Currently, they are working as a Management Accountant at Racing and Wagering Western Australia since June 2023.
Paul Graus completed their Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting and Law from the Western Australian Institute of Technology in 1979. Paul then pursued a Graduate Diploma (Distinction) in Business Computing from the same institute between 1984 and 1985. Additionally, they completed a Professional Year at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
