Sharon Richards

Sharon Richards has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sharon is currently working as a Program Management Office Analyst at Racing and Wagering Western Australia since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Water Corporation as a Strategic Portfolio Analyst Reporting from December 2020 to March 2022.

Sharon has extensive experience in project management and analysis. Sharon spent six years at HBF Health as a PMO Portfolio Analyst, where they were responsible for portfolio health reporting, project methodology policies and processes, project performance tracking and reporting, resource management planning, and stakeholder management and change management. Sharon is also experienced in using PPM tools like Clarity PPM.

Sharon also has experience working as an Engineering Systems Development Manager at CTEC Pty Ltd from October 2012 to October 2013, and as a Project Control, Governance and Systems Coordinator and Program Support Officer at Horizon Power from August 2009 to October 2012 and from August 2009 to December 2011, respectively.

Sharon started their career at Telstra as a Business Support personnel in 2005.

Sharon Richards has a diverse and extensive education history in various fields. In 2013, they attended the Australian Institute of Management and obtained a diploma in Contract Management, focusing on contract risk and law. Additionally, in the same year, they enrolled in the Quantum Training Institute and earned a degree as an NLP Practitioner, specializing in neuro-linguistic programming.

In 2011, Sharon furthered their education by attending the Australian Institute of Management, where they completed a degree in Contract Administration with a concentration in purchasing, procurement/acquisitions, and contracts management. Sharon also pursued their interest in project management at Central TAFE, where they obtained a Certificate IV in Project Management. Furthermore, they earned a diploma in Project Management from the same institution in 2011.

In 2010, Sharon acquired accreditation in P30, which focuses on portfolio, program, and project management, from Adaptive Frameworks.

In addition to their formal education, Sharon has obtained several certifications. In November 2019, they became an ICagile Certified Professional through ICAgile. In December 2011, they achieved a Diploma in Project Management from TAFE. In June 2010, they obtained P3O® Certifications from Adaptive Frameworks.
