Ed Marx

Ed Marx is the current Advisor at Rx.Health. Ed has also served as the Chief Information Officer at Texas Health Resources from October 2007 to April 2015 and at Cleveland Clinic from September 2017 to October 2019. In their role as the CIO, they were responsible for providing IT leadership, strategy, and vision for Texas Health, which included 25 hospitals, 1000+ provider practices, and 250+ outpatient facilities. Ed also facilitated communication between staff and management, developed and equipped leaders, and leveraged technology as a catalyst for enterprise success. Ed has also served as the Director of Physician Services at HCA from July 1997 to February 1999 and as the Chief Executive Officer at Divurgent. Prior to their work in the healthcare industry, Ed served as a Combat Engineer Officer & Combat Medic in the US Army from May 1982 to April 1997.

Ed Marx has a Master of Science in Design, Merchandising and Consumer Science from Colorado State University. Ed also has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University.
