Rx Outreach

Rx Outreach is the nation's largest, non-profit, fully licensed, mail order pharmacy and Patient Assistance Program (PAP). Missioned to provide affordable medication to those in need, Rx Outreach offers more than 1,000 medication strengths that cover most chronic diseases. Since 2010, Rx Outreach has served more than 450,000 patients in the US and U.S. territories, saving them more than $880 million compared to retail prescription costs. Through a strong commitment to patients and strong relationships with donors and pharmaceutical companies, Rx Outreach lowers the cost of medications to make them affordable to those who need them most. The pharmacy and patient contact center, located in St. Louis, Missouri, is staffed by more than 40 employees including licensed pharmacists, pharmacy techs, and patient care advocates. Rx Outreach serves those whose income is at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level. It is easy to check eligibility online and use the Savings Calculator to find out savings on specific medications. Patients can be on Medicare, Medicaid, or other health insurance and still qualify for Rx Outreach. Patients or their advocates can complete a simple enrollment process online, by phone, or with a paper application. Once a prescription and payment are received, Rx Outreach does the rest. Medications are received about four days after prescriptions are approved. When it is time for a patient to refill their prescription, Rx Outreach sends a reminder. There are no additional enrollment fees, membership fees, or standard shipping fees. Rx Outreach also provides affordable medication through the nation’s free and community clinics. Patient care includes gentle reminders about prescription refills, access to licensed pharmacists, and health-related educational workshops. Providing access to affordable medications is the passion of Rx Outreach employees. Visit www.rxoutreach.org to learn more.
