Awbrey Saxon

Awbrey Saxon has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. Awbrey started their career as a Lifeguard at YMCA in 2009 and worked there until 2010. In 2011, they transitioned to the retail sector and worked as a Sales Associate at Ralph Lauren for a short period of time. In 2013, Awbrey worked as a Student Intern at Conservation Alabama and later that year at NewFields. Awbrey continued their internship at NewFields in 2014 and also worked as a Paralegal at Shuttlesworth Lasseter, LLC during the same year. In 2015, they joined the Southern Environmental Law Center as a Legal and Office Assistant and remained there until 2017. Awbrey then worked at Protective Life as a Paralegal II from 2017 to 2019 and as a Regulatory Analyst from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they joined EBSCO Industries as a Corporate Paralegal until 2021, when they moved to their current position as a Paralegal - Compliance at RxBenefits, Inc.

Awbrey Saxon completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Urban Environmental Studies at Birmingham-Southern College from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Certificate in Paralegal Studies at Emory University, which they completed in 2014. More recently, Awbrey has been studying Sustainable Business at Cornell University, where they are expected to complete their Certificate in 2022.
