Whitney Hughley-Bennett

Whitney Hughley-Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Whitney started their career as a Clinical Reviewer at Health Information Designs, where they processed prior authorizations, communicated with healthcare professionals, and resolved customer issues. Whitney then worked as a Transition Specialist at Patient Engagement Advisors, coordinating patient discharges and assisting with medication assistance programs. At VIVA HEALTH, they served as a Coverage Determination Analyst, processing prior authorizations and providing support to healthcare management programs. Whitney also worked as a Coverage Determination Analyst II, serving as a subject matter expert for coverage determination policies and procedures. Later, Whitney joined Health Information Designs as a Drug File Coordinator for the Alabama Medicaid Contract, where they updated drug pricing files and conducted pricing reviews. Whitney then worked at McKesson as a Reimbursement Specialist, managing vital accounts and updating employee training manuals. Currently, they are working at RxBenefits, Inc. as a Quality Analyst, where they follow QA testing procedures for client benefit implementations, uses Microsoft Excel and Access for testing, and accurately documents test results. Throughout their career, Whitney has consistently demonstrated strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and learn new software and systems.

Whitney Hughley-Bennett has a diverse educational background. Whitney obtained their Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Science from Troy University between 2012 and 2015. Additionally, they earned an Advanced Diploma from Notasulga High School in 2009.

Whitney also holds two certifications in the field of pharmacy. In 2011, they obtained their Pharmacy Technician Certification Board from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. In 2010, they acquired their Alabama Pharmacy Registration from the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
