Emily Alten

Emily Alten has a diverse range of work experience. Emily is currently a Go-to-Market Project Manager at PatientNow, starting in March 2021. Prior to this, Emily worked at RxPhoto - Mobile Medical Photography from 2016, where they held multiple roles including Account Manager, Content Manager/Editor, and Content Writer. Emily was responsible for managing and editing content for a HIPPA compliant cloud storage photo management software, catering to medical practices in various fields. Emily also founded and directed LabChatter.com in 2015, a platform that aims to bridge the gap between the scientific community and the general public by providing unedited scientific research. Before that, they worked as a Medical Technician at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai from 2015 to 2018. Emily has also served as a Hospice Volunteer at Zicklin Residence in 2015. In 2013, they interned at Goff Laboratory, where they conducted research on retroviruses, presented their findings, and participated in a poster presentation at Columbia University. Emily also has experience as a Dancer at Momix from 2003 to 2012.
