Joe Boykin

Joe Boykin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role was as an Engineering Lead at RxPx, which they started in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Next Practice as a Software Architect from January 2021 to March 2022. Before that, Joe held the position of Software Architect and later Senior Caché Developer at RxMx from September 2017 to January 2021. Joe began their career as a Technical Specialist at InterSystems in October 2010 and worked there until September 2017. Joe also gained experience as an Editor/Indexer at Puddingburn Publishing Services Pty Ltd from November 2009 to October 2010. Additionally, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Hertz from July 2003 to October 2009. Joe's earlier roles include being a Tutorial Instructor at the University of Sydney from March 2005 to November 2007, a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Appalachian State University from August 2001 to December 2001, and a Research Assistant at Appalachian State University from August 2000 to June 2001.

Joe Boykin has a PhD in English from the University of Sydney. Joe also pursued a Master of Arts (ABD, suspended to pursue PhD) in English Literature at Appalachian State University, where they previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree with an English major and a biology minor. Prior to their college education, Joe Boykin obtained a high school diploma from Kinston High School. In addition to their academic achievements, they hold certifications in various fields such as Applied GCP Training for Investigational Sites and Sponsor Representatives E6(R2) from ARCS Australia and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
