Austin Leeds

Austin Leeds is an experienced chemist currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Project Chemist at RxSight, Inc. since July 2017, with previous roles including QC/Manufacturing Chemist III, QC/Manufacturing Chemist II, and Chemist I. Responsibilities encompass preparing components for the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), maintaining and operating the Wipe Film Evaporator, conducting in-process testing using various analytical techniques, and ensuring the upkeep of laboratory supplies. Prior experience includes work as a Chemical Technician at California Forensic Science Institute, where ammunition samples were created, and as a Beach Attendant at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Austin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and is currently pursuing further education at UC Irvine.
