Charley R. Johnson, P.E., serves as the Director of SIOP and Logistics at RYAM since September 2013, leading the global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process for the High Purity Cellulose division. Responsibilities include strategic planning, guiding logistics and scheduling functions, and managing US production scheduling to support annual sales of approximately $1 billion. Previous roles at RYAM include Manager of Utilities, overseeing the safe operation of various utility operations, and Superintendent of Utilities Operations. Prior experience at Rayonier encompassed roles from Assistant Superintendent of Chemical Recovery to Senior Environmental Engineer, focusing on operations and compliance. Additional teaching experience includes an adjunct instructor position at Altamaha Technical College and research assistance at Georgia Institute of Technology. Johnson holds an MBA from Georgia Southern University, a Master's in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering from Mercer University.
