Benjamin Newton

Benjamin Newton is an accomplished actuary and insurance executive with extensive experience in underwriting and pricing across various lines of business. Currently serving as the Chief Underwriting Officer for Ryan Alternative Risk at Ryan Specialty since February 2019, Benjamin focuses on developing pricing methodologies and promoting company culture values. Prior roles include Actuarial Director and AVP & Actuary at Zurich North America, where Benjamin led reserve studies and oversaw actuarial reports, and roles at Navigators and CNA Insurance, emphasizing pricing, reserving, and product development. Benjamin holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and dual bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
