Brian Alvin

Brian Alvin, FCAS, has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as SVP, Chief Underwriting Transformation and Automation Officer at Ryan Specialty since September 2013. In this role, Brian oversees pricing and profitability for 24 lines of business and leads a digital transformation initiative, enhancing data capture and streamlining processes. Brian previously held positions at CNA Insurance, managing significant portfolios and developing pricing strategies, and contributed to actuarial roles focused on professional and management liability. Brian's foundation in actuarial science was established at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where a B.S. was earned in 2008.
