Ryan Specialty Group
Kieran Dempsey is a Managing Director and the Chief Underwriting Officer of Ryan Specialty Group (RSG). He has more than 30 years’ experience in program development, underwriting and management.
Prior to joining RSG in 2011, Kieran held a variety of underwriting and management positions with CIGNA, Chubb, Professional Underwriters Corporation (Mutual Risk Management), Sapphire Blue and Beazley. He was the founding partner of Sapphire Blue, a MGU in Chicago. Beazley acquired his company in March, 2007; RSG acquired this business in 2011.
Kieran attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and Clarkson University. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and an Associate in Risk Management designation from the AICPCU.
