Seth G. Johnson

Seth Johnson is President of RT Binding Authority, leading RT Specialty’s national binding authority since the beginning of 2021.

Seth joined RT Specialty when his previous employer, Atlantic Specialty Lines, was acquired by Ryan Specialty Group in 2019. He then served as President of RT’s Atlantic offices. Prior to the acquisition, Seth served as Atlantic Specialty Lines’ Chief Operating Officer and had been with the company since its inception in 1996. Having been a founding member provided Seth with many opportunities to work and deeply understand all facets of the MGA wholesale binding space.

Seth’s insurance career at began Markel Insurance Company as an associate handling underwriting in the Health and Fitness Industry segment.

Seth holds the professional surplus lines designation, ASLI, and has completed extensive CPCU course studies. He is a former president of the AAMGA Under Forty Organization as well as having prior involvement and leadership participation in the Automation and Membership Committees. He has also served on numerous carrier advisory boards.
