Zahir Petiwalla

Zahir Petiwalla's work experience includes positions at various insurance and financial companies. Zahir is currently serving as the CFO of Ryan Specialty since December 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Aspen Insurance Group as the Chief Financial Officer of Reinsurance for six years from November 2015 to December 2021. Before that, they held the position of Group Head of Finance Transformation at Catlin from July 2014 to November 2015. From June 2011 to July 2014, they worked at Torus Insurance, initially as the CFO International & Group Head of Finance and later as the Head of Business Planning and Management Information. Zahir also gained experience at XL Capital, where they served as Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Development from December 2006 to May 2009, and as Vice President, Finance Operations and Systems from November 2002 to December 2006. Zahir started their career as a Senior Consultant at PwC from January 1998 to November 2002.

Zahir Petiwalla obtained a B.Sc in Finance and Management Information Systems from Boston College in 1998. Zahir later pursued an MBA specializing in Strategy and Finance at the London Business School from 2004 to 2005.
