Albert Rex currently serves as the Principal at Ryan, leading the Historic Tax Credits division within the Credits and Incentives group since February 2022. Prior to this role, Albert was the Partner and CEO at MacRostie Historic Advisors LLC from May 2006 to February 2022, where consulting services were provided for historic preservation across the nation. Albert's earlier experience includes working as a Consultant at A.S. Rex Historic Consultants and serving as the Executive Director of the Boston Preservation Alliance from January 1996 to September 2004. Educationally, Albert holds a Master’s Degree in Preservation Studies from Boston University and a BA in History/English from the University of Rhode Island, along with business education from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
