Charles Johnstone, FRICS, AACI, is a Principal in the Property Tax Complex at Ryan, where they provide real property appraisal and consulting services for a variety of complex properties. Previously, Charles was a Director at AEC International, where they mentored senior staff across Canada and provided expert witness evidence. From 2002 to 2004, they served as the Manager of the Core Team at BC Assessment, successfully leading the design and implementation of a new appraisal and assessment system. Charles has actively contributed to the appraisal community, holding leadership positions with Scouts Canada and the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
