Desiree Palencia

Desiree Palencia is a seasoned professional in property taxation and appraisal with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Director of Property Tax Commercial at Ryan since March 2025, Desiree previously held various leadership positions at Travis Central Appraisal District from April 2016 to March 2025, including Director of Commercial Appraisal and Commercial Appraiser roles. Earlier career stages included work as a Market Analyst at Hidalgo County Appraisal District and as an Assistant Property Manager at HPI Real Estate Services & Investments, among other positions. Desiree began a professional journey at HEB as an Accounting Specialist and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate Finance & Development from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
