Michael Browne

Michael Browne, CPA, CA, is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in sales tax recovery and consulting. Since 2012, Michael has served as Director of Sales Tax Recovery at RYAN ULC, offering strategic tax services that enhance profitability and cash flow for multinational companies. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Consultant at Definitive Consulting Services from 2005 to 2011, where the focus was on indirect tax engagements prior to the firm's acquisition by Ryan. Michael also held controller positions at Radio Beacon (2003-2005), Stephenson's Rental Services (2000-2003), and Navision Software Canada (1998-2000), as well as working as a Staff Accountant at Grant Thornton LLP from 1995 to 1998. Michael holds multiple Chartered Accountant designations from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada and Ontario, along with an Honours Bachelor in Administrative Studies (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Arts in Math for Commerce from York University.
