Scott Scheffy

Scott Scheffy is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in tax credit programs and strategic finance solutions. Currently serving as Director of New Markets Tax Credits at Ryan since October 2023, Scott has successfully led a team to achieve three consecutive years of revenue growth while supporting low-income communities across the nation. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Strategic Finance Solutions Senior Manager at Cherry Bekaert, where responsibilities included managing tax credit projects and educating clients on funding benefits. Scott's earlier experience includes serving as Tax Credit Manager at Hancock Whitney Bank, where oversight of tax credit programs and expansion initiatives contributed to organic revenue growth. Scott’s educational background includes an MBA from Mississippi State University, a postgraduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, and a BS in Finance from Louisiana State University.
