Jorge Albanese

Jorge Albanese is an experienced airline pilot currently serving as Captain of the B737-800/8200 for Ryanair since May 2023. Previously, Jorge held the position of Captain at Flybondi from November 2021 to May 2023 and was a Line Training Captain for Norwegian from September 2018 to June 2021, accumulating 840 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the B737-800. Jorge's extensive background includes serving as Captain/TRI for ERJ-190 and MD80 at Austral Líneas Aéreas, with over 4,200 hours in command and training roles. Additional experience includes positions at Air Plus Comet as 1st Officer on the MD80 and at Aerovip as 1st Officer on the BAe Jetstream 32. Jorge’s early career involved flying the BE1900C as 1st Officer with 500 hours as Second-in-Command (SIC).
