Pedro Velho

Pedro Velho has extensive experience in software engineering and research with a focus on cloud computing and parallel applications. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Ryax Technologies since September 2019, Pedro previously worked as an R&D Software Engineer at ActiveEon and as a consulting Software Engineer at Atos, enhancing flight search solutions. A solid academic background includes two postdoctoral fellowships at Inria and UFRGS, along with research positions at Université de Grenoble and PUCRS, contributing to advancements in distributed computing and hardware design. Pedro holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Grenoble Alpes, a Master’s in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
