Laibing Yang

Laibing Yang has a strong background in technology and leadership roles. Laibing is currently serving as the CTO at ryd. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the CTO at insureQ from 2020 to 2022. Before that, Laibing was a co-founder and CTO at knooing GmbH from 2019 to 2020. Laibing also has extensive experience at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal, where they held various positions including CTO from 2018 to 2019, Head of Department from 2014 to 2018, Team Lead from 2010 to 2014, and Software Engineer from 2009 to 2010. Laibing started their career as a Software Engineer at Jentro Technologies GmbH from 2006 to 2009. Laibing Yang's work experience also includes a role as a Scientific Assistant at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München from 2005 to 2006.

Laibing Yang obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business/Commerce, General from Liaoning University and Liaoning Technical University in 1999. In 1999, they also participated in an International Exchange Program at Technische Universität Clausthal, studying Business Administration. From 2000 to 2004, Laibing pursued a Diplom (Master of Arts) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Leibniz Universität Hannover. Following this, they attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2004 to 2007, earning a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
