David Anderson

David Anderson has held a variety of roles in the scientific field since 2004. David began as a Research Technician at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics, University of Rochester in 2004. In 2005, they became an Undergraduate Researcher at the Experimental Nanophysics Laboratory, Northeastern University. In 2006, they moved to Weill Cornell Medicine as a Research Technician. In 2007, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at Cornell University and a Visiting Researcher at Legnaro National Laboratory - Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare. In 2008, they earned their Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of Michigan. Most recently, they have been the Chief Executive Officer at Rydberg Technologies since 2015.

David Anderson attended Northeastern University from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Mathematics, and Music. David then attended the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science - Optics & Photonics. Finally, they returned to the University of Michigan from 2008 to 2015, where they earned a Ph.D. in Applied Physics.
