Michael Lam

Michael Lam is a Senior Geologist at Ryder Scott Company, where responsibilities include evaluating the hydrocarbon potential of both conventional and unconventional reservoirs since October 2006. Michael possesses extensive unconventional experience in the North Sea and Australia, focusing on shale oil, gas, and fractured granite reservoirs. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Geological Well Site Consultant at TIH Consulting from October 2000 to October 2006, where duties involved managing geological aspects of drilling and maintaining positive relations with clients, rig hands, and drilling engineers through effective communication. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Calgary.
