Heather Vanderheiden

Heather Vanderheiden serves as the Engineering Manager for Customer Implementations at Ryder System, Inc. since March 2023, where responsibilities include managing complex supply chain projects, supervising a team of engineers, and supporting the sales process through high-quality solutions. Prior experience includes leading improvement projects at Detect, significantly scaling shipping volumes for COVID-19 test kits, and managing various logistics and operations projects at Drop, where significant gains in efficiency and customer satisfaction were achieved. Heather also has a history of roles at The Container Store, MiraCosta College, In-N-Out Burger, and Blackhawk Network, demonstrating a strong foundation in management, operations, and customer service. Heather holds an Associate of Arts degree with a Liberal Arts emphasis in Social and Behavioral Sciences from MiraCosta College.
