Michelle Cotton Garcia

Michelle Cotton Garcia, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting, currently serving as Accounting Manager at Ryder System, Inc. since August 2016, with previous roles including Accounting Consultant, Senior Accounting Analyst, and Senior Accountant at the same company. Prior to joining Ryder, Michelle held positions as Audit Senior and Audit Staff at Verdeja, De Armas & Trujillo, LLP between February 2014 and August 2016, and worked as a Health Insurance Specialist at Financial Designs INC. from May 2012 to January 2014. Early career experience includes a role as Customer Service Representative at Marken LTD from May 2010 to May 2011. Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation (2015-2016) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance (2012-2014) from Florida International University, along with an Associate of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University (2010-2012). A high school diploma was obtained from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in 2010.
