Marjolein Duermeijer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the media and entertainment industry.

Marjolein is currently working at Ryff as the Chief Content Officer since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of EVP Content and Strategy at Ryff from June 2020 to July 2022.

Marjolein also worked as a Media Specialist at Mar D. from September 2019.

Marjolein founded BoksDocs B.V. in 2009, a production company specializing in high-end natural history documentaries and licensing content.

From March 2017 to September 2019, they were the Group Director Brand Operations at Endemol Shine Group, where they led the restructuring and optimization of content rollout and business strategies across multiple operating companies.

Before that, Marjolein served as the Commercial Marketing Director at Naturalicious, where they strengthened the marketing department and facilitated the B2C launch of cold-pressed juices.

At Insight TV, they held the position of Global Head of Production, Content, and Distribution from October 2014 to October 2016. Marjolein played a crucial role in content strategy, licensing, and acquisition, and was instrumental in the successful global launch of the company.

Prior to that, they were the Head of International Sales and Development at Tuvalu Media from January 2013 to December 2014, focusing on global market expansion and securing partnerships.

Marjolein also worked as an Executive Producer at Fox International Channels from February 2012 to January 2013, where they oversaw content localization and maximized brand opportunities in partnership with different teams.

Earlier in their career, they held the position of Director of Marketing and Development at Nature Conservation Films World Wide, where they managed general operations, production pipelines, and sales. Marjolein worked closely with renowned filmmaker Hugo van Lawick and developed high-budget natural history films for international broadcasters.

Marjolein Duermeijer's education history includes attending the Montessori Lyceum from 1986 to 1991. Marjolein then went on to pursue a degree in psychology at the University of Amsterdam from 1994 to 2000. Recently, in 2019-2020, they completed a course on Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.
