Chris Schiro, CPA, CISA has over 18 years of work experience in various roles related to auditing and finance. Chris is currently serving as the Vice President Internal Audit at Ryman Hospitality Properties, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Internal Audit at the same company from January 2013 to March 2020.

Before joining Ryman Hospitality Properties, Chris worked at Gaylord Entertainment for six years, starting as a Senior Auditor in July 2007 and later progressing to the roles of Audit Supervisor and Audit Manager. Chris also gained experience as an Advanced Staff Auditor at Crosslin Vaden & Associates from April 2005 to July 2007.

Their career started at Trustmark National Bank, where they worked as an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst from August 2004 to April 2005. Prior to this, they served as a Financial Analyst at Pearl River Resort from May 2003 to August 2004.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated their expertise in auditing, financial analysis, and anti-money laundering. Chris holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Chris Schiro, CPA, CISA began their education at Millsaps College where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2003. Chris further pursued their studies at Millsaps College and successfully completed a Masters in Accountancy from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, Chris has also obtained several certifications. In 2007, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Chris then obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in October 2012. More recently, in March 2016, they received the Internal Security Assessor certification from the PCI Security Standards Council.
