Heather Smith

Heather Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and analysis. Heather is currently serving as the SVP of Corporate Finance & Treasury at Ryman Hospitality Properties since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Morgan Stanley for 15 years, starting as an Associate in 2008 and eventually becoming an Executive Director in 2015. Before Morgan Stanley, they worked as a Senior Equity Analyst at Morningstar from 2005 to 2008 and as an Equity Analyst at Briefing.com from 2001 to 2005.

Heather Smith pursued their education at Northwestern University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Political Science. Heather attended the university from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they enrolled in the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2006 to 2008, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their MBA focused on Finance, Marketing Management, and Strategy.
